I be damned! it works. pls be considerate, i had to read through 1071 or most of it to figure it out. just ask why there is half a million view. i reiterate the steps here. 1. go to cydia>sections>all packages>BossPrefs 2. install that 3. install openssh 4. go to iphone>set bossPrefs Openssh to ON 5. go to pc>install winscp 6. key in ip, root and alpine this is the last time i will read this post, so dont ask me any questions. pls ask the TS or debate amongst urselves!

im using mac terminal. i can get into the root password and all that stuff but for some reason, it asks for a root#. i was wondering if you knew a way to find the root#? i already changed the ssh password.
