Perez Hilton Branches Out To Fashion and Music

Celeb Hilton's brand is growing stronger by the day. I'm not talking about Paris - I'm talking about Perez.

Hey guys. Dana Ward here at the Clevver TV headquarters in Beverly Hills, and today we're dishing about Perez Hilton and how he's seriously branching out his business.

The famed internet gossip monger - with his bad talking ways on perezhilton.com - has officially launched a sister site. That's right, and this one is totally dedicated to Hollywood style. Cocoperez.com is the name of the new blog, and accordingly, Perez spoke out QUOTE I've always had a strong interest in fashion. I feel there's nothing deep about fashion, it IS entertainment. Clothes are meant to be fun, they're meant to entertain." Well, with that statement, it sounds like P-Hilton shouldn't be bashing stars left-and-right because maybe they were just trying to ENTERTAIN, right? Too bad that is NOT how it goes for this guy. He definitely plays favorites, and Perez is not stopping with his recent drop into the music industry.

Yep, Perez has launched his own music label, Perezcious, and he's already signed on his first artist, Slimy. And the guy with the real name of Mario Lavandeira organized 'Perez Hilton Presents' a 20-city music tour featuring Ladyhawke, Semi Precious Weapons and recent-show-drop-out, Ida Maria. According to Hilton, he had already been busy throwing international events with featured acts like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kanye West and others, and this recent festival-tour is just an extension of his events.

I'm thinking that if ANYONE else had taken the leap of faith from celeb blogging and bashing into the music industry, Perez Hilton would have been the first to comment. So why isn't anyone really making a statement about his career change? It might have to do with the fact that he's blogged about some "up and coming" talent back in the day who is now superstar status, like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

it's not that hard. i stopped visiting his site 2 years ago. don't regret it. you're not missing anything other than doodles and snarky comments. everything he reports, he cuts and pastes from other sites (and often times, he can't even get that right)
