help! At the beginning when you add the new layer to the G, after hitting clouds you go to "distort>glass" but the glass doesn't come up for me. I can't hit it!

Thanks for the reply. I like the effect of the reflection being close to the white line, but I don't like the tails of the "p's" crossing. Could I use a mask to cover the reflections bottom "p"? One more thing, Would you consider creating a demo on the effect of a explosion of a planet. i.e. like the one in the star trek movie. I believe it was called an energy wave as a planet exploded. Thanks for you excellent glass text effect.

@MrSlipdisk The only problem with masking the letters is that it would affect the layer styles applied. But an easy workaround would be to put the letter P into a group and apply the mask to the group instead. And if I were to figure out a good way to make that effect, I'd definitely post a tutorial on it =)

I have a question. Is there a protocol when making the reflection? i.e. lower case "p" and "q". When trying to keep the majority of the text close to the white oval, the tails or lower parts of these two letters cross into each other.
