  • @bwanna23 well, I always explain it this way(sorry for my bad english)

    he had very unusual ideas, wrapped in fashion fabric, explaining why even nineteenth century couldn't understand his music entirely and so they were only paying attention to the outdated facets.

  • Wow that painting is like the 18th century equivalent to the Sgt. Pepper's front cover, lol.

  • I am not a musical historian, but it seems to me that Telemann was an extremely innovative composer in his time.
