I saw him last night as the phantom a Burswood and he was awsome!!! Perfect in every way! Brilliant actor as well! Emotion and all, better than Michael Crawford or Gerald Butler.

@NEHOMAS Just to let you know, mate, "The Main Event was performed in 1999. I only wanted to point that out as you have it in the description as 1996, which was when John went on the road, (and train tracks through Queensland) with his Jack of Hearts tour in 1996.

I love listening to this...I'm actually dying to see Dr Zhivago just so I can hear his voice...because I was one of the unfortuante ones who didnt get to see him as the Phantom, but his replacement was still superb!!!

I'Ve just got to say that I've seen lots of West End Phantoms and Broadway Phantoms. I aint seen this guy but WOW superb!! Almost as good as me.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great Phantom, but I would love to see him as Jekyll/Hyde in a stage production of Jekyll and Hyde the Musical.

He's been pretty sick with the flu on and off throughout the run, ever since the Melbourne opening. I know it's frustrating but it's a good thing that he's taking the necessary time off needed to get better, or he'd not be giving his all for his performances, and he's a perfectionist after all. I'm going on the 8th, and i'm torn; part of me wants Ant to stay home and rest up if he's still not good, but of course - i want my Ant-rik! (Ant's Erik)

I think Ant's got a pretty good dancin' style... he can jive with the best of 'em! And thank goodness i'm seeing Phantom again - twice! - this year. I was becoming a sad excuse for a fan within reasonable driving distance of a show!
