If I had the money I would go for the RSV4 factory, here in Canada the 2011 APRC SE is $26,000 plus tax . Even though I'm 6'2 found it not bad to sit on.
BMW is more on my budget ($19,650) out the door . Fantastic never the less. Thanks for a great review on the exotics.

I'm Canadian, live in Ireland where I can go as fast as I want, and as a result I've got an S1000RR. When and if I move back to Toronto, I'd go for an Aprilia RSV4 or possibly Ducati 1198SP because you can't ride as fast and so stuff like sound and "emotion" becomes more imp than speed imo. I've heard the RSV4 at BMW Toronto in idle and in gear and it sounds mental. Doesn't sound as good as Ducatis do on track however imo, at least flying by

Can you turn the anti wheel off & traction control off on the Aprillia?

How are you dealing w/ the street racing law? Every time I come back to Ontario I'm glad I left for that reason alone!

@StigRossi : Yes, Ma'am.

ShamanWS6 - are you the bloke who had a 500hp Firebird and was on the Car and Driver forums years ago?

Kudos to KTM who makes the rawest and more genuine bike of the bunch and still makes such a great lap time against the gizmo bikes.

@ShamanWS6 awesome thanks,, I might have to look that up.

@RETICS1 : There's a RSV4 Factory at BMW Toronto for $19K out the door or $19,500 if you want the GP exhaust (caution: it's loud as hell!)
Yes, also you several predefined setting´s from the factory, so you can use it as you want.

The RSV4 might be a litle more expensive, but it dosen´t have any chinese made parts on it and the other....
The difernce in prices must be on something, and the cost of labour in Germany is much higher than in Italy!!
