The ancient literature describes many varieties of themes that are connected to the Messiah. We talk about those themes in this series of videos, and show how the Book of Mormon is entirely accurate in its appraisal of an atoning Messiah.

  • Also, his statements concerning the second temple after the Jewish exile not being a legitimate temple recognized by God are not entirely accurate. Not only is this in conflict with Daniel's prophecies which declare that God himself would bring about the rebuilding of his temple, but even the Lord during his mortal ministry recognized this second temple as being his father's house. Aside from this, the rest of the video was pretty interesting.

  • I don't know that I'm entirely convinced Israelite messianic views after Josiah were any different than the original view, after all, Josiah's reformation was realized with the aid of Jeremiah the prophet.

  • It's not so cold here in Texas
