Ya'll I've been a packer fan since I was 6 I'm 24 now, and the only reason I became a fan is Brett. As I got older I saw a lot of similarities between my dad and Big Irv, how they raised their sons, Brett Favre is a superstar, the records say so, but Brett is his fathers son that's why you see the fiery passion, that's why there is no quit in him. My daddy always taught me when you THINK you've done all you can do, that's when you work harder, that's when it gets done, sooo true! RIP MWS & Irv.

And all those people the NFL sucked into the revenue stream by marketing Favre to be more than he ever was, he's yours. The Packers and most Packer fans don't want his ass back. So for the hype hungry, WWF loving, folding chair throwing crowd, Brett's yours. For those who love football and the storied fanchises that make it up, we're moving on stronger than ever. Haters are gonna hate. Favre is one of my favorites of all time, and I consider it a crime against humanity that this will be the first season in 20 years that I won't get to see old number 4 trot out under center. If only Brett would have retired after the 07 season! That was pretty magical and if he had retired then would have went down as the most beloved sports figure all time. He and Muhammed Ali are the two most exciting athletes in history. I did lose much respect after the sexting ,going to the Vikes, and comments to J Peppers about going out and beating the Pack! Those that constantly interject Favre into every Packer discussion after Super Bowl win need to let it go. Aaron Rodgers team now!
