wa laykum salam, Of course! the ones who create new sects are the hypocrites, & Islam is only one religion. Unfortunately, many labels had to be added to distinguish different scholarly schools of thought & who is following the most authentic ways of the prophet(S). Now i bring a question! How do we know which way is right? That is why we need to pay attention to big evidence like the hadith of ghadir khum, we must hold on to these sorts of proof, in order too be part of that ONE Islam.

I am a new muslim revert and I don't understand why muslims are debating whether which group is better and which is not. The thing that I understand is that I believe in the Oneness of "ALLAH" and that Muhammad (bpuh) is His slave and messenger. And i also believe that all muslims have the same faith as mine. Then why the division? There is only One God, one religion and one faith. Allahu Akbar!

Lots of confusion here. There were no sects or divisons at the time of the Prophet (saws).

Man has made himself a judge, but the only judge is Allah.

Islam was pure, but man has diluted it.

There was no abuse and no hatred in those days, why abuse and hate now ?

The campanions loved each other for the sake of Allah and the Messenger.

Ali named his children after Abu Bar, Umar & Uthman and he even gave his daughter's hand in marriage to Umar.

So why abuse him ?
