The baritone is terrific--and the tenor isn't bad. An all Korean Otello would work with singers like these.

I saw the baritone Ko as Scarpia about 10 years ago. He was excellent. He had one of those thrilling baritone voices that we don't hear any more.

Ko ist irre, hatte ihn einmal in Hamburg also Tonio (neben Cura) erleben dürfen. Unvergesslich.
