I normally can't stand death metal bands covering heavy metal/rock songs, but this REALLY works. They managed to add muscle to the riffs, while still keeping the anthemic/melodic atmosphere of the original. And the growled verse/clean chorus combination was a work of genius. I find the chorus even more catchy in this version!
