I love this song, which I just discovered two days ago. I also like the version by the New Christy Minstrels. Also, the man technique on the Mandolin if great.

When I was about four years old (about 1955) I found the sheet music to this in my father's piano stool and persuaded him to sing it to me. I found it hilarious to be able to say Bum without it being rude! Now my father is gone, but my grand-daughter laughs as I once did!
