  • i like it it sounds like a clear more manageable fuzz face

  • anygood for jimi hendrix?

  • White coily cable of JUSTICE!!

  • are you jack black?

  • @Materhorn86 No,I was not getting too much extra noise with my TS9,but the TS9 was not cutting the mustard as far as being able to drive my fuzz pedals in general(the dreaded "mid hump").Soooo,I went with the Barber LTD,which is MUCH more transparent and adjustable(there is 2 internal trimpots for bass and treble)and with the Barber LTD my clean channel gain sounds much more natural, almost like its a part of the amp itself.(I only use the clean channel on my tube amp)Good luck on your"Tonequest"

  • @gibbytone75 When you stack the astrotone with your tube screamer does it make a lot of hiss, or is it just totally unavoidable regardless of what pedals you stack?

  • Love the chat, great style, keep it coming - how do you reckon this would work driving the LovePedal Believe ?

  • I got this pedal two weeks ago,it is not as analog Mike says himself,a super thick compressed fuzz. This pedal is a very musical sounding fuzzy /distortion that sounds really good with humbuckers as well as S.C.I run mine with a tube screamer in front of it and it sounds amazing. If you turn the fuzz up all the way you can get a slight octave up effect, that sounds great with the neck pickup. And it sounds clear as a bell when played in a band setting.

  • Fuzzes are also a tough one. When they work right they are brilliant but it can be so difficult to get the right one in the sweet spot with your (one's) gear...

  • killin it. great playing, great pedal
