@pandorabangles I feel as though Judy's signature is her ability to belt and have such amazing dynamics from soft to roof raising loud. Personally I love hearing all sides of it and I'm glad she uses so many different volumes. Keeps you on your toes. :P

Judy and Jerome. Wonderful combo.
Ben Bagley put out a series of "Revisited" records with seldom heard
tunes by great Broadway composers. The was one for Jerome Kern.
Don't know if any are available on CD.

I love the part when she walks on stage to sing this song and you hear the music build and Judy talking to a stage hand, saying "Keep your fingers crossed, Joe!" Then she really makes the entire movie worth sitting through!
