  • Should have gone up the Monument, there's various rooms on the way up detailing the life of Wallace and the views are fantastic at the top. You read Outlander!..thats a wifies book! :D

  • @Oxgangs1966 I would have loved to go up, but it had literally closed just as I got up there. Oh well, another reason to go back!

  • I'm curious if the main reason you went there and for so long is that your wife read the Outlander series and had to go there?

  • @LizAZ08 No, an old friend of ours lives there now (she was the person we met through years ago) and we were visiting her and her daughter. My wife actually started reading the books in advance of our trip after I recommended Outlander to her, which I read a couple years ago after a friend recommended it to me. My wife is just finishing the 7th book right now, I started the 2nd one but didn't finish it yet. I liked it but school got in the way.

  • Wow, you guys are really doing Scotland. This is my dream. Great job. I will continue to stay up late to watch all of your videos.

  • @LizAZ08 Thanks, I'm glad someone enjoyed them. I liked making them and putting them together to have a different way to remember the trip. We had a great time over there, I might even look for work there when I'm done with grad school, although that's probably a long shot.

  • Yes, am totally enjoying them. I think the books are def geared toward women so you're probably not enjoying them as much. I loved all the history Diana Galbadon researched for her books. She lives is my city (Phoenix). Anyway, what is better than knowing someone who lives there. That's the best.
