I had this game. No doubt it was a different kind of game but I thought it was awesome--the controls scheme sure is controversial. Heck, first ever to pound someone at the table. But it was deep in content...maybe too much.

I don't think ladder matches appeared until after Smackdown 2. Plus royal rumble mode has and always will suck, so i am glad they didn't put it in in 1998
