@Kankki1 Just because USB CAN supply 500mA, doesn't mean the board uses 500mA.
Regardless of the power consumption on the dev board, the MCU itself would use far less, don't forget about all the extra functionality and circuitry on the dev board - that all uses power too!

USB can supply up to 500mA, doesn't seem that low power to me.
