I know that the Borzoi's traditional role was as a wolf hunter but I've always found it hard to believe such thinly built dogs with such skinny heads could be powerful enough to take on an adult wolf. They are certainly beautiful and elegant creatures, the height of canine chic, but I'm thinking a wolf would eat them for lunch in a fight. Now an Irish Wolfhound is a different story. That looks like something that could kill a wolf with no trouble.

I had a Borzoi once... She was Champion of Balkan and Europe. This video reminded me to her and it made me so sad and happy in the same time... THANK YOU!!!!!! :)
