It is such a tragedy that the remastered versions weren't done by Dochterman. His vision if FAR superior.

If you REALLY want to refurbish it, put George Takei in a skirt and having his way with the new male Starfleet cadets. Since he destroyed a great character with his revelation that he's a polesmoker, it's only fitting. Same reason you hardly ever see Rock Hudson films anymore. Living a lie destroys your image and credibility when you are revealed.

Give me a break. Takei is still Mr. Sulu, and I don't see how his sexual orientation had anything to do with it.
