Perfect out of the box and in tune as well. Chambered so it's really light. Tone to the bone. No joke.

1 piece back!

Peavey on about 6, no boost and running through the clean channel.

Neither, The amp had the ground prong pulled out of the plug when I got it and I never replaced it, plus the place I store my gear is old with noisy wiring throughout.

Do not worry about the guitar, it's great. That being said, all P90s are somewhat noisy - they are single coils after all.

You're lucky on having the "one piece back". I saw another video here from a guy that, aparently, doesn't like US guitars, and he got a "5 pieces back". Unless he was joking... But, the one I saw on the guitar shop I went to, had 2 pieces back. Cheers!
