I explain how/why my current readings are so high compared to others, and why other's tail-cap readings are actually much lower than the actual current flowing through the tailspring when the torch is in operation.
I get cut off at the end saying, "in actuality the current draw with the tailcap on is much higher than what most people are measuring using their DMM. The only true measurement would be a clamp meter measurement around the wire going to the emitter from the switch (if direct drive, or from the driver if one is used).
I never looked at that way before , thicker wire fore testing

@TheBlackSky000 The clamp meter has both AC and DC current testing settings. I set it to DC for these tests. : )
