Bob Schieffer spoke with Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan about criticisms over President Obama's newly proposed mortgage plan.
It's hard for me to equate the notion that some 68 percent of Americans .. or is it 80 percent ... say they believe in God. Many call themselves Christians.
So why is it that so many of these people are WHINING about helping their brothers?
As for the people that were tricked into buying the nice home, well I guess I was just lucky. I always knew banks were in the business of lending money. I just don't take as much as they offer or if the interest is too high I seach for another lender. I have had to do without a time or two but it was worth it in the end.
OK! OK! you've got me, I will come clean. I am ready to buy each and every one of my children a house. CHEAP! I know they would pay me back because I have confidence in my children and their future, after all they all have jobs and pay taxes right now. I'm not the only one to spend like the government wants us to do, just need a good reason.
the people who wanted to provide a future for their family were told lies about the system, those who doubted were persuaded into financial constructions they don't understand.
The lenders are humans, the banks have traded their morals for profit
I believe if people were allowed to fail in this country we wouldn't have this huge financial problem, we would have a much more inteligent population. Some of us actually learn from our mistakes. Housing would be more affordable in the future if things were just left alone. My children could buy a forclosed house from the mortgage company cheap leaving the lending companies paying this bill instead of me.
I CONFESS ..

That is assuming your child makes it to be able to buy a house that has been unoccupied for almost 20 years genius.
You can what if anything to death so knock it off, no one cares what you believe.
