I don't know if I agree with you. I agree that they probably don't know what they're upset about when it comes to healthcare - frankly the issue is so complicated it isn't easy to discuss.
But I think the teabaggers have a point when they say they're taxed enough already. I don't think people are very happy with the rise in taxes on everything from donuts to car tires.
There ARE black tea baggers. Explain that...
Because of that, I think racism is an oversimplification.

I guess I meant the vocal protesters in the recent rallies, people who called themselves teabaggers and patriots. I haven't seen any blacks at teabagger affairs, but I do know of several black leaders critical of Obama's reform plan because it will force us all to get insurance from those companies, lining the pockets more of that over-bloated industry. You have a point, though. The teabaggers include, not a cross-section of America, but at least a few separate elements.
