Simcheck A300B4-200 Video Series
Follow Link at the end of each video to the next.

Airbus A300B4-200 was the first Airbus ever built, back in early 70s equiped with analogue instruments and advanced autopilot for that time.

This video shows take off from Charles de Gaulle LFPG RWY 27R and introduction to autopilot use to climb and maintain 6000 ft.
It is not the perfect procedure for take off (i.e: N! and not TO/GA button is pressed so there is no SRS annunciation on FPI) but still I believe it is correct.

  • You're a nice pilot man ! Flex takeoff ?

  • @pokematt99 it is 150 kts and .235 mach speed. they are independant.

  • look at the airspeed indicator, it reads 235 while the arrow is pointing at 150???

  • The AP and AT dont work

  • @dilson0070 Oh dear. The "noob" thing backfired a bit didn't it? Learn to read an airspeed indicator - "noob". It wasn't 245 knots at all.

  • Does this thing have full INS simulation? If so I'm gonna buy it NOW!

  • actually the a300b1 is the first of the airbuses

  • @dilson0070 He took off at 0.245 Mach. The airspeed in knots is displayed in the circle around the indicator, and as you can see he took off at about 160 knots.
