The Hanks (Jeff Hart - guitar/vocals, Ron Bartholomew - guitar/vocals, Herbie Saint - drums & Jim Piver - bass) play this Terry Anderson (The Fabulous Knobs, The Woods) original during an encore at The Brewery (made popular by the Georgia Satellites).

Terry (singing), Jack Cornell, Robert Kirkland, Derrick Kirkman, Rob Ragsdale and Kenny Shore join The Hanks on stage in this free for all. This sort of drunken late night (on stage) craziness wasn't unusual for a Hanks show in the late 80's. Tony Madejczyk videotaped this for us. The Hanks current lineup includes Steve Webster on bass. More Hanks videos on our website ... (www.thehanks.com).

The Hanks (on Bombay) are celebrating their 20th year as a band, The Hanks preceded the Alt.country and No Depression movement nationwide by almost a decade with their love of all things power pop funneled through a prism of influences from Gram Parsons, The Everly Brothers, Ramones, Hank Williams and The Cramps. • what do you mean the quality sucks. that was recorded on state of the art VHS ....

  • maybe that's a good thing. you do realize the actual songwriter (of Battleship Chains) is on stage with us ... right? and that we're all drunk as hell (well, that's obvious I suppose).
