Nobody's Fault But Mine by Blind Willie Johnson. Performed by Keni Lee Burgess on a 1930 Stella guitar using the old style method of playing using only the Bottleneck and fretting no notes.

  • @Seaofcouches Thank you for your kind words. Enjoy.

  • @KeniLeeBurgess whoa. that was eloquent.

  • @Gargamelim I received this Bible when I attended a local Gospel Revival. A friend's band was performing there. I went home, inspired to perform and post this video. Many times people are truly trying to share, what they think is important, with very good intentions. Even though a gift might not be completely appropriate, it is definitely the thought that counts. May your life go well. Enjoy the Holiday Season.

  • @kaptainbastard I understand that and am aware that allot of other music I like is religion based (Masses by Bach Pachelbel and even earlier/later) I was just wondering if there was something special in that particular bible..

  • @kaptainbastard Your words are very kind and encouraging. Thank you.

  • @KeniLeeBurgess ''a greater power than himself''.I understand that, thanks brother. You play like that too.play and sing without fault.

    .

Happy Christmass Happy holidays Happy winter solstice.and Happy new year to you.

  • @Gargamelim The Bible is simply a book. What is really important is how you are inspired by it. Some use it to elevate themselves above others. Some elevate it above themselves and use it as a weapon against others. While others use it to wash the inside of their cup and see other people simply as themselves. Keep your Faith.

  • @kaptainbastard Thank you for sharing. Yes, considering the hardships he endured in his life, it is easy to hear through his recordings he was clearly moved by a greater power than himself. Out of the Mud, the Lotus blooms in the Pure Light. Happy Holidays. Keep your Faith. Enjoy the Season.

  • @Gargamelim The greatest musicians are inspired by faith. Blind Willie Johnson was pure religion.

Christian Evangelists taught southern blind black people how to read braille.all they had/could read was the bible.

  • @Gargamelim Thank you for your kind words. Best of Health, Wealth, and Happiness to you and your family for the Holiday Season and throughout the New Year. Keep your Faith.
