@Mattea68 ... It's a shame that they haven't been inducted yet... they certainly deserve it.... If all their fans would write the CMA, then maybe we'd get something done.... It's just Nashville Politics as usual!

I agree about the Hall of Fame. Not just because they sing so well together - you have to consider all their individual contributions - the hits Tompall wrote, the hits Jim wrote, their groundbreaking work in publishing, signing John Hartford, their work with the great Marty Robbins, etc. There is little these guys haven't done, in my mind that's what makes Hall of Fame material.

They can say what they want about Alabama & The Oak Ridge Boys. IMO the best country groups were the Statler Bros & the Glaser Bros. None other can even compare to these two groups.

i was playing guitar in okinawa {i was out in the far east 8 years, 59 thu 67} when they toured through. they changed my life. they were just great and i hung out with them for 2 weeks soaking up everything i could learn.from them. jim was really helpful and was a fine teacher. i never played or thought the same after that and it is great to see them again after all these years. i could never thank them enough. i'm still gigging and i owe them a great debt and try to repay by teaching others.

¿Que pasa con los hermanos Glaser? Por mas que busco no encuentro( con Marty Robbins tampoco) un solo DVD de los hermanos y llevo tiempo buscando,con los LP no hay problemas hasta tengo uno firmado?.Por favor si alguien me puede informar aqui mismo.Creo que retiraron de youtube otro MedleY de los hermanos mas extenso que este y era otra maravilla.

@twoteles I too was at the Wembley performance and had the pleasure of seeing the guys. The trouble is that I had forgotten about the concert and have been watching this video in awe for the last few weeks thinking there was something very familiar about the performance. I came across the festival programme and actual ticket a few days ago whilst rumaging in my loft that proved I was there. I must be the biggest numpty in history!
