Procol Harum's current lineup is terrific! As JingleDingle said it's great there out and about!
-
A Rum's Tale is my new favorite Procol song....great to hear it live!
-
Nice performance...but I think Geoff does play far too much.
-
Phillips sounds great ... IF you like that roller-rink organ sound. Fisher used it on Good Captain Clack but there it actually fit. JP should have just copped Copping.
-
naaaahhh...doesn't suck at all.
Josh Phillips does a great job. BJ's and Fisher's seats are hard ones to fill...but the latter day Procol sounds as great as ever...and Geoff Whitehorn is the best guitarist this band ever had.
-
one of Procol's best songs for my nickel ... too bad Josh Phillips' Hammond part here sucks
-
Great band. You'd miss B.J. on the skins alright but this is a good performance. The guitar adds to it as well-something you don't hear on Grand Hotel.

Check in the Grand Hotel. Let's dance a Waltz to A Rum's Tale. Have a great Time.

One of my favourite Procol Harum songs, thanks for uploading :-) Sadly this performance can't keep up with the original record with BJ Wilson and Chris Copping...

Maybe, but Phillips is his own man, with his own style, and is settling in rather nicely...just as Copping eventually did. Really, the best man for the Hammond chair is still the original, Matthew Fisher. But unfortunately he won't be back unless some kind of miracle occurs. Anyway, I'm just glad that Procol is still out and about, and still one of the best 'live' bands out there.
