My Transition Part 3: Hormones and beyond

Not much left to say really besides some advice: Make sure you know what you're getting into when you start transitioning. Becoming a member of the opposite gender if hard. It involves a lot of planning unless you started before or shortly after puberty and had supportive parents. I hope you learn something from my experiences.

Like you were talking about in your video, I also had that very defining moment where I just could not take being a boy any more and had to transition or I would die. A friend in a 12-step group (like AA) had a fascinating book "If You Meet the Buddha on the Road, Kill It," the main point being, people sometimes fixate on something outside themselves that they believe will "fix" all their problems, but this is an illusion of faulty thinking. Clearly, Lucy, you are learning this in a very painful way, but you are as clearly learning!

I'm proud for you to be making these vids to help others. That's a big growth step. You really are doing very well these days!

I think you do need to change your name first. I don't think you need to worry about wearing make up or anything, just be you and dont think of it as acting a certain way. But then thats easy for me to say

I remember you from the early days in your first channel. You pased very well but yeah you did not have confidence and you seemed to have alot of emotions going around at the time.
