  • Hes not "just a co-creator" dont down play Joe Shuster and recognize the contribution. He based the Daily Planet on the Toronto Star even. We're not "taking" credit, more so we're showing our contributions. Besides Toronto is a has a large Comic book community.

  • I repeat: The Superman Exists, and he is American, but he was born in Canada.

  • Why did you say, "I always thought Canadians were just lazy French. At least in France they spend all their energy paying the world off. France, only seconded to America on being most hated world wide" darkswn01?....smh......Aren't you canadian?

  • @XeutonMojukai superman can survive even in the us since he does not need health care security

  • Superman was created by a Canadian.

  • My biggest nitpick about this is that the classic intro "Stronger than a locomotive! Faster than a speeding bullet! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!" was actually conceived by Fleischer Studios when they did the (awesome) Superman cartoons in 1941. Here it's a cute nod, but a little inaccurate.

  • Let's face it: Yes, Superman was created by a Canadian, but it would have never worked in Canada as it had in the US. In Canada he'd simply have been known as Man. Not nearly as marketable. :)

  • @Neville6000 please try reading all of the facts before you attempt to come at me...lol

  • @Neville6000 I know a great deal about world history. I love how probably the most informed person here is being called "ignorant" lol...I never said that Shuster wasn't born in Canada, he got a lot of his artistic inspiration from there. But if you watch this video objectively, and without bias or knowledge of where he was created, the average person would come away thinking that he was created in Canada. And he wasn't. The ideas of Superman, and the people he fights for, was born in Ohio.

  • @BigCougar76: Geez Louise, do you like making most Americans look this ignorant of the rest of the world on purpose, or does it come naturally?

  • lol at 0:53

  • @shimokita2 I know they've gotta just learn to be they're own-culture and not try so hard to be claiming credit for things Americans have done. They don't like it obviously when Americans try too hard to be them!!!
