Yes, in School everybody agreed that it was right to abolish it, but when it's about murderers or child-abusers they are very quick to demand that person's death, even before he is convicted.

Its an interesting topic, I think that Life in Prison with no parole is a much harsher sentence than death. But Life in prison will cost a lot of money, and won't necessarily make the offender have any remorse for their actions.

Honestly the death penalty will probably never change. People will hate it one day, and stand for it the next.
Very easy topic to debate upon because of the black and white nature of the matter. There really isn't all that much room for gray areas.

Simple way to say why death penalty should exist. you want your tax to feed criminals that kills People for unjust reasons. because ever since public execution was banned no one outside of the prison is scared of the existing law. rather some uses as tools to get away from punishment. As they sain in my mother korea "Sin is Sin and Punishment is Punishment" You know how old koreans dealt with execution? they chose one Death penalty Prisoner to be executor for his rest of his life.
