Although this is a video specifically for games workshops' warhammer 40k, it can be used for any urban wargaming terrain. Basing requires a lot of time and work for preparation and building, but is well worth it in the end. If done well, it can really up the standard of your work. • this is a great tutorial. I think you will be alot happier if you used a little finer grain of sand. check out my most recent vid, i give a tip at the end for a good way to sift dirt from outside to work for bases and terrain. I'm lovin em man, keep em coming!!!

  • thanks for your comments, though i accidentally deleted the one from a different vid. I was actually disappointed that i couldn't find better sand, but i was so impatient i couldnt wait. Do you think it would work if i used better sand on my new buildings im planning to make?

  • as in, like will it match ok or should i do it anyway?

  • You are so cool

  • @mekdakka If you want to get the smaller sand particles out of your bigger sand, you can always buy a kitchen strainer and filter out the larger pieces. Works very well and will save you a TON of money in the long run. GW sand is expensive! Great piece, I enjoyed the tutorial.
