@drenandtarb the plot is like an anime and the combat is like a simplified fighting game

@basman2006 Learning Japanese was the best decision I could've made as a nerd. Playing the PSP Phantasia as my first game made it all worth it.

this is probably the darkest and most mature tales game. i like it a lot.
i haven't played this game but just followed the subbed version here on youtube.
i really wish i could play it

@ChaosZack08 In my opinion Tales of Hearts was the only really successful DS Tales.

@drenandtarb I think Rebirth is, but it never came stateside. For ps2 you should get either Legendia (Black Sheep, but still great) or Abyss (my favorite aside from Symphonia).

The DS Tales and VS suck, they'd give the series a bad rep in the US and UK.
