Thanks to some very clever design work, nearly every element of Receptor can be controlled using only its front panel -- ideal for making music without hooking up your computer or a monitor. Learn the basics of Receptor's front panel operation with Muse Research product designer, grEGORy simpson.

  • is there a way to change the patches half way through a song, with out using the front pannel (e.g. wirelessly) because if you watch Pendulum performing live, the synth player will have like 10 different patches used during one song, and is using a guitar like midi controller- with out going anywhere near the back to change the receptor- and he has about 20 receptors behind him... thanks.

  • Perfect - that's explained everything I wanted to know! But is it possible to recall entire sets of channel stripes ('scenes'? are they called that on this?)

    that would be really useful!

  • How much money did this guy get to read some commercial lines on a cues-creen. lol.

this rack seems like an amazing future thing everybody will use in DJD shows and stuff.

  • Actually Igor was Frankenstein's assistant... Dracula's assistant was Renfield.

  • Who would have thought Jordan had an assistant called Igor, just like count Dracula. Its surly Jordan's secrete, similar to Dracula.

No I'm loving the idea of the Receptor.

I still am researching it for Midi guitar use.

  • JR rocks my musical world.
