WHAT: Tour de Cure is a challenging cycling event that allows both the avid and recreational cyclist to raise money for diabetes research and educational programs.

12/20/32 Mile - Fitness Test Ride
1-12 Mile - Family Fun Ride
WHERE: Reston Town Center, Reston, VA
WHO: Over 1,500 bike riders from corporations, unions, family and friends, bike clubs, and individual participants will take the challenge with the American Diabetes Association to find a cure.
GOAL: To raise over $530,000 to support the American Diabetes Association's mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of people affected by diabetes.
HOW: Each participant has a goal of raising at least $175 or more through flat donations. Corporations, unions and families build large teams of co-workers, friends and associates, with each team member raising money toward an overall team goal. WHY: Donations raised through the Tour de Cure will fund research for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, prevention programs, education programs, and residential and day camps for children affected by diabetes and advocacy initiatives.
