Reala (AMV) - That Was When I Ruled The World (Viva La Vida)

I haven't made a Reala tribute like this in a while... Especially an AMV version. But when I heard this song by Coldplay, it made me think of him. So, anyway, here's the story: It takes place after Journey of Dreams, when NiGHTS defeats Wizeman. Before that, when Reala and NiGHTS had one final battle at Bell Tower, NiGHTS won, and Reala lost. He was knocked unconscious and fell to the ground far below. He woke up three days later, and when he remembered what had happened, he immediately flew to the dark realm of Nightmare, only to discover that Wizeman the Wicked, his creator and master, had been destroyed by NiGHTS. At that very moment, Reala took off his Persona mask and thought of everything that had happened, the fact that Wizeman had never cared about him, but used him to get the Ideya. So, as the song says, "That was when I ruled the world", Reala remembers that he used to be above NiGHTS, that HE was always superior-- Until NiGHTS was hailed as a hero.

The sound of the bells on Bell Tower rang where Reala could hear them, and he heard the sound of Nightopians singing far off at a great distance. And then, he said to himself, "Master Wizeman is no more. Nightmare has vanished. I used to rule the world-- And now, all of a sudden, NiGHTS has risen above me? I have nothing more to live for..." Oh, and the grey scale thing is representing Reala's memories, of when he used to "rule the world", in other words.

Yeah, I know, it's kind of sad, but that's the plot. And yes, I suck at writing plots, especially for videos, I know. But just try to go along with it, okay? ^_^ Oh, and thanks to back2s0ul for creating "Reala - Radio" and "Burnin' Down Twin Seeds" for the ending of this video. Copyright: Well, you might've thought the song was called "That Was When I Ruled The World", but that is incorrect; It's actually called "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay. I find this not only to be a great AMV, but also a good plot to go along with the AMV. There is a lot about the character of Reala, and you've showed his/her sorrow very well.
