Promo for the shows Jeopardy and $25,000 Pyramid on WNEV-TV 7 in Boston. Also included is a short "Feel Good About That" promo for the station in general. From the mid 80s.
Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune were originally on KCOP 13 in Los Angeles, where WoF announcer Charlie O'Donnell (except he wasn't the show's announcer at the time) was a news anchor. At least they still have both shows on WDIV in Detroit. (If ABC still owned WXYZ, they probably would have moved the shows there from WDIV had it been part of a deal on the part of ABC for its stations it owns and operates.)
Keep in mind that Jeopardy hadn't yet caught on & this was before Jeopardy & Wheel Of Fortune were shown as a package deal on all the affiliate stations.
Nice vid, but I do not recall where the syndicated Wheel of Fortune was on that schedule. I learned from another YouTube poster that WoF and J! had been on Channel 7 since their respective '83 and '84 debuts but aired during the day before moving to the evening in 1987.
If anyone could tell me what time WoF aired on WNEV in those days, it would be appreciated.

They were indeed...also, during their days as WNAC, they also pre-empted Whew, though it did air in nearby Providence, RI.

"Jeopardy!" without Art Fleming? Surely you jest. Such a program will never take off.
