What are you talking about? I was a huge Parrothead way before I went to a concert. It doesn't take a concert to know anything about Buffett. All you need to know is how to have a good time.

Just listen to his music and lay back and relax. He doesn't have a great voice but great lyrics. Doesn't matter if you're in Michigan, Kansas, Florida, Utah, New York, etc. If you just like having a good time then he's your man.

Some people think its cheesy, but really its all about having a good time, partying in the tropics. Its fun music to me. Its true that his voice isnt that great, but it has its own charm that grows on you. And in general, the songs he writes and simple but very catchy and fun to listen to. You either get it or you dont. I love this music, it makes me happy. If you dont get it, you need to learn to take music less seriously sometimes.

Robin Thais here, sorry, it was a Rolling Stone concert, not a Grateful Dead concert where the guy got stabbed by a Hell's Angel.  Mick had hired them for security. I stand corrected.

Does anybody know if this is available on DVD? I want to blare this on surround sound with picture, but I'm not sure where to get this. Any ideas? And sorry SunnuvasunnuvaSailor, but you're still a baby at 16. No arguement that pot does alter you, but after bartending for 16 years, I'd take a pothead over a drunk anyday. And it was a Grateful Dead concert at Altamont where a Hell's Angel killed someone, not Woodstock.

When you go to Buffett concert it's all about the party and there was certainly lots of booze and pot and coke out there that night on Biscayne Bay. Nobody died but some of us woke up in unusual places missing some clothes...what's wrong with that?
