Aayushi - Raising Alexandria

Twenty three centuries ago, Alexander the Great founded a magnificent city in Egypt on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. He named it Alexandria. The most famous ruler of Alexandria was Cleopatra VII.

Alexandria was considered to be Egypt's most important trading Metropolis. This city was filled with Palaces and Temples. The Great Library and The Seventh Wonder of the Ancient World "The Lighthouse: Pharos" were the glorious landmark of Alexandria.

The evidence of the ancient monuments had been destroyed, wiped out by centuries of war, fire and devastating earthquakes. Today most part of the ancient city lies in the Mediterranean Seabed.

We are raising the memories of this ancient capital lost in the laps of time by "Raising Alexandria".
