  • Wonderful. The great thing is, if you feel it then that's the first step. Many people try to play something they can't even feel. You can learn to translate that feeling into tangible chords. You just need to memorize more and practice expressing yourself musically. Remember the music comes from the individual not the instrument. From the man not the machine. From the person not the piano. Lol. Should I keep going. From the dude not the drum. Lol

  • Thank God for black folks. I am a non-religious white guy who loves the soulful legacy you carry and share. You bring something that makes the world a more joyful place.

    Thank you.

  • Lol. I'm black and I'm proud. ha ha. Black folk. Too funny. I've been called worse.

  • whats wrong with your website?

  • Praise God. Thanks for the encouraging. I'm going to keep them coming. I'm sitting here outlining my next youtube-torials.

  • Thanks, I'm a starter. I'm gonne practice Em, it is new for me. Nice to use a lot of black keys.

    Thanks again.

  • Thank you for putting this out. I love this music, I love your spirit and your drive to teach us interested in organ!, These are very useful techniques!! God bless you sir!

  • I had no idea how funky blues scales sound on the organ. They sound great on the piano too, but the organ adds a whole new dimension. Thanks for the video.

  • You are a bad ass!

  • Please show me something usefull. I don't care about how good your technique is.

  • Thank you very much for this Lesson!!!

I'm 16 years old and just learning to play this beautifull instrument.

Thanks to you i made a little progress =)

Do you have any ideas on what are the best steps to learn playing this instrument? There are not exactly many teachers or peers who can help me out xD

Now i just try to learn some easy songs, but i guess i can't keep doing this if i want to make any progress.

Just a little help would be much appreciated.

  • Thank you very much man!!!

I bought a full Hammond XK-3(3)c with 2nd keyboard and classic wooden hammond stand from someone i know. the guy never played it and just wanted to put it away in some dust old garage..

Now it's here and i'm learning to play it.. and thanks to you i made a little progress =)

Do you have any ideas on how to continue? It would be great if i got a little help.

  • So glad I found this. I'm a fairly competent guitarist thinking about buying a Nord for my small-town funk/soul band. The theory you explain here is awesome - and feels soooooo good and funky! Thank you for sharing your gift.

  • This will take a bit longer but ill get back with ya when i get it Bless your lessons

    Bob from Detroit
