W/ Miley and Demi talking on the phone

Demi: so why did you mom want you to come home early?
Miley: Oh um........*silence*
Demi: miley you still there
Miley: oh yea my mom wanted me to babysit
Demi: oh cool
Miley: yea well am gonna finish up my homework so ttyl
Demi: okay bye!
Miley; bye *hangs up* Miley POV (Point of View)

Okay i know i lied but what was i to do tell her that i am getting married to this jerk that broke my heart. Tell her that my family barely has any more. Yea i can imagine now me telling her that her that i am getting married to her old best friend.Demi give u that friend for me she thought it so too awkward for me. Now that i think about it I know that she would understand but i think i cant handle that fact that its actually true. But the thing that bothers me the most about lying to her is that it makes me feel like am the worst friend ever. Am i that bad of a person that i have to lye over something so stupid?
