@tomcossins The pieces are "remix"s from the soundtrack of a long series of PC Shoot-em-Up games called Touhou. This one came from game number 9.5 of the series. An arrange is what we could tentatively called a remix of of a song, to be precise it's "the art of preparing and adapting an already written composition for presentation in other than its original form". I suggest looking up the Wikipedia article for both Touhou and what an Arrangement is.

What are all these pieces of music from? And what is Arrange? I love all of it so far

Wait, I just noticed that I referred to Jesus as though not part of the Holy Trinity.
Let this be a lesson: Don't create analogies at 4:00 in the morning.

@KonohanaVillager Of course. I loved UM's instrumental album and plenty of Magnum Opus, it's just that while a lot of groups can produce songs that stand up to Demetori and Taka, most don't do it as consistently.
Also, Taka is Crow's Claw =P

@HomicidalDonut I lol'd on the holy trinity. I think there's more good bands that work on Touhou stuff. Check out Magnum Opus, Crow's Claw, and Unlucky Morpheous.
But the three bands that you mentioned kick ass. My favourite band is by far Demetori.

What can I say? AWESOME. Also, who's the artist of this picture? I can't find it on iqdb :(

@HomicidalDonut kudos for the holy trinity of Touhou metal

Can't agree with him being the only one. Touhou metal has the holy trinity of IRON, Taka and Demetori. Which I guess makes the also amazing Bach Jesus since he was so strongly influenced by IRON.
One note though. I've noticed that all or IRON's work is good but there are usually one or two parts of the song in particular that knock your socks off. 9 out of 10 times those parts are the ones with nothing to do with the original song. I'm thinking maybe he should try an original album.
