Helpless When She Smiles (S2) Chapter 32 part 1

Colleen steps into the hall closing her room door behind her. The elevator doors open allowing its occupants to disembark, returning from their early morning interview. Nick spots her, her back turned to him, he hurries and wraps his arms around her waist, from behind swinging her around as she squeals with delighted surprise, "AIEEE" He laughs "Mornin' Beautiful. Miss Me?" She leans back against his chest a huge smile plastered across her face "Always." She replies wistfully. "Awww... Now it's Nicky's turn to make everyone want to throw up." Joe comments as he gives Nick a shove in the shoulder, while he and Tracey stride past the cuddling couple. Kevin laughs "It's only fair that everyone gets a turn. Isn't that what Mom always said." Joe shakes his head "That was when we were sharing that scooter when we were little. I don't think it applies to this." Kevin laughs "Yeah probably not, but at least I'm not the only one to get bugged about it." Tracey giggles at Kevin's odd comment before asking "You gonna play that song for Lisa?" Kevin gives her a tight lipped grin, his eyes motioning towards Colleen, who had suddenly become very interested in their conversation, before replying "I was planning on it, thanks for keeping it a secret." He says sarcastically. Tracey grimaces and blushes "Oops ... sorry?" Kevin shakes his head "Never mind it wasn't going to be one for long." Joe grabs Tracey's hand and pulls her down the hall "Lets get you out of here before you say something else." She chuckles "I think I'm spending to much time with you, your Foot In Mouth Disease seems to be rubbing off on me." He laughs "It was bound to happen at some point." Nick laughs as he watches his brother and Tracey disappear into the room at the end of the hall. He looks over at Kevin who is standing staring off into space, he wonders if this brother had actually fallen asleep standing up, as Colleen whispers in his ear "Is he Okay? What Song?" her warm minty breath sending a tingle down his spine. Nick shivers before whispering back "He's fine just tired. I'll tell you about it later." He then turns to Kevin and taps his shoulder "Kev... Hey You there... Earth to Kevin?" Kevin jumps shaking his head startled he looks around the hall confused his eyes stopping on Nick's laughing face "Huh? What?... Oh Sorry... I must have zoned out there." He yawns wide and rolls his head trying to stretch his neck. Nick chortles "You need to get some sleep Bro!" Kevin stretches is eyes wide trying to look awake "No... I'm fine... Just need another Coffee." He points his finger in the air trying to confirm his point. Colleen giggles, she had never seen him so dopey, even with all the late nights and early mornings, she was curious to find out what she had missed this morning. Kevin then comments "I lied what I need is a Coffee and my Girlfriend. Do you know where Lisa is?" he asks Colleen. She shrugs "I haven't seen her yet. I just got up." Nick pulls her tight against him "What I've been up for hours and you were sleeping, That's so Unfair!" he pouts. Colleen giggles at the cute way he sticks his lower lip out and the puppy dog eyes he gives her trying to look sad, but to her it only makes him look hotter. She scrunches her nose and cuddles into his shoulder "Aww... don't be sad. Some of us just need a little extra Beauty sleep." He pushes her back so he can look at her face, cupping her cheek and gazing lovingly into her eyes he whispers "You must have over done it then, because you're gorgeous." Colleen drops her head slightly leaning into his palm as she blushes. He leans in and pecks her lips. Kevin rolls his eyes and declares "With that I'm out of here, you two are just too much." He stumbles off down the hall hoping to find Lisa in the suite where Joe and Tracey and disappeared into a few minutes before.
Nick pulls Colleen into a tight hug and sighs "Finally Alone!" "So what are we going to do?" she asks with a flirty grin. He gives her a wry smirk and reaches down sliding his fingers into the back pocket of her jeans. Her eyes widen and a tiny gasp escapes her lips. "Nicholas?" she exclaims smacking his chest. He stifles a proud chuckle as he slides his fingers out, the Key Card to her room grasped between them. He holds it up smugly, twisting it in the air "We could enjoy our alone time." He says with a wink. She bites her bottom lip and giggles "You read my mind." He glances up and down the hallway, once he is confident the coast was clear he slides the card into the slot on the door, the green light flashes he quickly turns the handle, and in one swift motion pulls Colleen inside closing the door silently behind him.
