Bunch of whiny OSU fans. Try actually KNOWING the NCAA rules about field goals.

Rule 8, Section 4, Article 1a. A field goal shall be scored for the kicking team if a drop kick or place kicks passes over the crossbar BETWEEN the uprights of the receiving team's goal before it touches a player of the kicking team or the ground.

Rule 12 Section 3 Article 1b. Reviewable plays

If the ball is higher than the top of the uprights as it crosses the end line, the play may not be reviewed.

If you want to call out rules, also point out that, just like the plane of the goal line, the plane of the top of the uprights extends forever. Meaning, if you break the plane, you score.

think the quality was proven when Alabama dismantled LSU, and Quality of teams, HA Texas lost 5 games that year and OU lost 3...so the quality in conference was terrible lets look OOC, Louisiana Rajin Cajins, Arizona, Tulsa and lost by 3 to unranked team

Alabama beat a top Arkansas team that only lost to LSU and Alabama, beat a bad Florida team but on par with Texas, Alabama lost to LSU the #1 team by 3 and Alabama beat Penn St in Penn St...Alabama's Schedule > OSU by ALOT

you would have a valid point if that was how the rule went, but it isn't. just like the ESPN announcer said, it has to go between and it looks like it goes right over lel left upright meaning it was not between. Okie State did still deserve to play in the National Championship though, and it is strait bull shit that they didn't. If you look at the quality teams OSU beat compared to Bama there shouldn't even be an argument for Bama.

I seem to remember LSU losing to a horrible Arkansas team and still getting in. Sorry but They found all kinds of loop holes to let LSU in on 07 with Ohio State. OSU didnt really belong either and I am a Buckeye fan. They found all kinds of loops holes in O3 to get OU in the game then this year with Bama. Face it the system is fucked and by the justification of 07 it should be OK State playing LSU.

I know the rules. I won't be calling you names. I know that the way the play was called, it was not review-able. You quote Rule 8, Sect 4, but that sounds to me like the part you want to point out applies to a kick being blocked!

That kick passed b/w the uprights (over the crossbar) and broke the plane of the upright.

Maybe you should truly educate yourself before you try and call someone out, or name call.
