Lindab30 - John Mayall is not one of the best blues guitarist ever. Although he does play, it is the likes of Eric Clapton, Peter Green & Mick Taylor that have made the Bluesbreakers have such a fantastic guitar sound. :)

Hard to believe a guitar solo like this existed in ‘65, considering the twangy, short, & hokey guitar solos in commercially recorded pop songs then! I first heard this in '73 on the Mayall double vinyl compilation LP “Down the Line”. I bought my own copy in ’79 & have treasured it ever since. It was out of print, but a friend found 6 “discontinued” cut-out copies in a store in Chicago, & bought one for me. It has a wonderful cross section of cuts showcasing Peter Green, Mick Taylor, & Clapton.

Back in Days of really good blues when you could actually go see them live without a Hassle. Miss those days very much. Much better live.
