Mass Effect Renegade 28 - Hostage

While surveying Farinata System (1), I discover the MSV Ontario, the freighter of the Biotic Terrorists who kidnapped the Chairman of the Parliament Subcommittee on Transhuman Studies (2).

We fend ourselves off from the Biotics, and reach the Leader before he executes Chairman Burns. It turns out that they are L2 Biotics whose request for the reparations was turned down by Burns. We successfully defuse the situation (2).

Admiral Hackett on the Fifth Fleet is pleased with the outcome - now on to the next mission! While I'm in Hades Gamma cluster (3), I'm going to check up on the Missing Survey Team who lost contact in Trebin (4).

You can trigger this quest by listening to the news on Citadel elevator after becoming the Spectre (Episode 23). To get max Renegade points, you need Intimidate 6.

@JMasterVlad I know, you'd think you'll get more Renegade points for killing the terrorists, but it's one of missions when Paragon & Renegade goal are the same (successfully persuade the terrorist to surrender by using Charm or Intimidate).

If you don't have enough persuasion skill, it'll end up in blood-shed and you only earn Renegade 2 points =D
