In the pilot of the 1970s Amazing Spider-Man series was what can only be described as the best piece of music to ever be associated with a superhero. Here is a little viseo tribute to the piece in question.
DUDE I thought I was the only one LOL!!! I made a cool Spider-Man costume when I was 12 and I'd play a tape of this music and the other one, with the sax, and that closing theme, too, and I'd don my blue and red tights and jump around my room, on and off the furniture!!!LOL!!!

I've always wished I had the soundtrack to this. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than Elfman's score for the movie series.
