First Aid Kit - "Hard Believer" - SXSW 2010 Showcasing Artist

Klara and Johanna Soderberg, AKA First Aid Kit (17 and 19 respectively) have been gathering fans apace throughout 2009, since the release of their Drunken Trees EP in February (originally released on The Knifes Rabid label and picked up for the world by Wichita Recordings). They now unveil their wonderful debut album, The Big Black and The Blue due out on 25 January 2010.

Can we please stop the "atheist vs. religion" arguments? I am a devout Catholic, and I find this song beautiful. Religion is part of this world. Atheism is part of this world. There's nothing we can do about it, the best we can do is just get along. When it comes down to it, we're all human.Lastly, YouTube is no place for religious arguments; you're not going to sway anyone by calling them an idiot. Especially on YouTube. Let's just all get along and enjoy the music.

While what you say is a nice sentiment, it ignores the reality that beliefs don't exist in a vacuum so they affect social, moral, and political aspects of life, which is why people argue about these things.

This is a GREAT SONG, and it was sung by great artist. The messege is a good one. I agree that that religion is a fact of life and a road block to all that is progressive. It is a handicap of sociaty as a whole. In a way it is a good one. It keeps the simple minded busy while the reat of us progress. If it weren't for the churches, they may be out skinning cats or something.
