Klara and Johanna Soderberg, AKA First Aid Kit (17 and 19 respectively) have been gathering fans apace throughout 2009, since the release of their Drunken Trees EP in February (originally released on The Knifes Rabid label and picked up for the world by Wichita Recordings). They now unveil their wonderful debut album, The Big Black and The Blue due out on 25 January 2010.

I can see so much determination and passion in their eyes. I can see that they want to be famous. Hopefully they will. There needs to be more music like this out. Not half the junk that's out now. BRING MUSIC BACK!

@purpletycoon How is that different from pretty much every country artist trying to convince me that there is a God and that Jesus loves me? If people can sing about what they believe in, I think it's only fair for others to be able to sing about what they don't believe in as well. :)
