This is R&B, (rhythm and blues) HOWEVER, this falls under the SUB-umbrella, DISCO.

DISCO is a version of Rhythm and blues.

Other versions of Rhythm and blues would be:

- calypso

- funk

- psychedelic

............just to name a few
