This is my 'homemade' solution to tendon soreness in what I've decided to be the anterior tibial tendon.
It runs down the leg towards the medial side of the foot.

the problem is called Tibialis Anterior Tendonitis, a muscle in the front of your shin that helps you dorsi flex your ankle (bring your toes towards your head. And the video is really good, i've been using KT tape for about a year and a half and have the same problem!! Also KT tape is really good, but it won't solve the problem. After your runs deep massage onto the tendon (you'll feel it when you try and bring your toes towards your head it pops out in the front of your ankle). + Stretching!!

the 2nd tape... u are taping it around the back of the heel? it's hard to see in ur video..i wish i had better instructions online. I have KT tape at home!

So how did the runs go? You said you would post back, just curious if it is still working for you? I just finished a marathon and I had no pain until I stopped, then it was so bad it hurt to walk. I stayed off of it for a week, but as soon as i started running again I felt the pain immediately! I hope this solution will help...it is killing me to not run!
